Dear Friend of the Ritz:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Antique Talladega, we are writing to thank you for your support of the Historic Ritz Theatre over the past 11 years.

Contributions from the Friends of the Ritz Theatre enable Antique Talladega to present a broad range of world-class performers at the theatre. This Fall Season will be our biggest yet, with seven fine productions for audiences to choose from, and our largest Arts in Education outreach to date. Thanks to contributions like yours to the Friends of the Ritz, this fall more than 4,000 local schoolchildren will attend children’s theatre productions at the Ritz, free of charge.

We have another important project this fall to tell you about: the return of movies to the Ritz. For the next three months we are holding a membership drive for the Ritz's new Silver Screen Society, who will be honored with a display in the theatre lobby as the individuals who brought movies back to the Ritz.

The membership fee will be used to buy a new screen, projector and sound equipment, and includes two free tickets to the champagne reopening of the Ritz as a movie theatre: a showing of "Gone With the Wind" on December 17, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the film's release.

With your continued support as a Friend of the Ritz, you get priority seating for our Fall Season shows. The enclosed Friend of the Ritz Advance Order Form will allow you to secure your seats before tickets go on sale to the general public.

Again, thanks for your support. With your help, we will continue to build the Historic Ritz Theatre's reputation as a premiere regional arts center.
